Christmas choirs

 

In my last post about Christmas music, I focused on mainly commercial music. I’ve just stumbled onto these amazing and entertaining choirs celebrating Christmas in a fun way. Here we go…

 

Well, let’s start with the funny one. Everyone knows that Christmas is a good time for family drama and epic fighting. Why not add to the family drama and come out this Christmas? Here’s the song for that very situation.

The Hallelujah chorus is a very famous and traditional song that every choir has to try over Christmas time. There’s a proper operatic version of this later but this rendition by the “Silent Monks” is pretty damn good.

 

I love a good flash mob and this one is a great idea: taking opera to the food court. I dont care how cynical you pretend to be, this is pretty amazing stuff and watching it just makes me smile. Enjoy.
